This is a preparatory class to help you pass the State Exam.

Course Description

This self-paced course allows the student to start and pause the training during its delivery. The course utilizes visual aids and audio commentary to facilitate the efficient and comprehensive learning of the subject matter required to meet the regulations for an UST Class A or B Operator.

Learning Objectives

The training is specific to the state’s regulations and will consist of several lessons. At the end of the training with successful completion students will be able to immediately print their Certificate of Completion.

Topics Covered

The following topics are covered in this course:

  • Class A, B and C Operator roles and responsibilities
  • Overview of UST systems
  • UST operator requirements
  • Release detection
  • Record keeping
  • Release reporting, confirmation, and corrective action

Seat Time

Approximately 4 hours


There is a quiz at the end of each lesson. Students are required to pass each quiz (at least 70% correctly answered questions) prior to advancing to the next lesson. After passing each quiz, the student will gain certification as a certified Class A-B UST Operator.

Course Completion

Upon completion of the course, a Certificate of Completion can be downloaded.
