The State of Virginia has finalized their UST operator training regulations and they are scheduled to become effective September 15, 2010. Here is a link to the regulations with the final edits. There is an important requirement that is due then.
Class C operators shall be trained before assuming duties of a Class C operator. After September 15, 2010, written instructions or procedures shall be provided to Class C operators to follow and to provide notification necessary in the event of emergency conditions.
