The State of Texas has released proposed rules governing UST operator training. The proposed new Subchapter N requires the training of persons responsible for the on-site operation and maintenance of underground storage tank systems and makes other changes as necessary to clarify existing requirements in the areas of secondary contaiment, sumps, and corrosion protection.
The TCEQ will hold a public hearing on this proposal on October 26, 2010. The comment period closes November 1, 2010.
