The Energy Policy Act of 2005 states that EPA, in coordination with states, must develop training guidelines for three distinct classes of UST operators who operate and maintain federally regulated underground storage tank systems. States must ensure all three classes of operators are trained according to state-specific training requirements no later than August 8, 2012. Some states already require UST operator certification.
TAIT is constantly monitoring each state’s implementation of UST operator training. We maintain a state-by-state database, as part of an effort to keep our clients up to date with the ever-changing implementation of these requirements.
We are happy to share this database with our existing or potential customers. Contact Andy Tait at [email protected] to request a current copy of our database.
