The California State Water Board issues guidance regarding adhesives used in the installation and repair of UST components. All adhesives acting as external seals must be compatible with the products stored in the UST system. The California Designated UST System Operator and the California UST Service Technician must be aware of these requirements. UST components and materials installed without manufacture compatibility documentation must be removed or replaced the components.
